Our pit stop for lunch during out Heyri Art Village visit was Subi, a Ramen shop inside the village. The place has some cute decorations and we met a nice lady who worked there that we ended up chatting with. Knowing that we are learning Korean, she even offered to introduce us to her kids to practice our Korean. Definitely going to go back again if I have the time :)
For lunch, we went to Three Broomsticks. This rustic tavern serves pretty good food I may say. We ordered their Spareribs Platter, Fish and Chips, and Rotisserie Smoked Chicken Platter and they were all good. And oh, loved the interior of the place.
Gossam Naengmyeon (고쌈냉면) is one of the place that I usually go to for a quick and cheap lunch. They have multiple locations and I've been to the one in Ewha University Area & Sinchon area. They're (obviously) specialized in Naengmyeon, but their Bibimbap is also good too. And when you order either one, it comes with a side of beef.
One thing that our class ended up doing every time we finished an exam, go out for good food. For our end-of-midterm celebration we went out to eat Pork Bone Soup (감자탕) near Grand Mart around Sinchon area. According to my Chinese friends, this place is pretty popular amongst the Chinese. The food was definitely tasty, price is reasonable, and it's not as spicy at it looks :)
Earlier this year, I went to Orlando, Florida for our yearly family vacation and spent our time mostly on theme parks. So to kick off the travel series, here's our lunch at Bubba Gump before we began our day at Universal Studio. Having been eating a lot of Korean food lately, I have to say these look pretty good right now :)
