So the second bookstore I stumbled upon during my Yeonmi-dong (염리동) walk was Stop For Now Travel Bookstore (여행책방 일단멈춤). The guy from the previous bookstore actually pointed this place out to me when I asked him if there's any other shop around the area. I arrived at this place almost the same time as the shopkeeper who just got back from buying a bottled drink. I actually didn't realize that she was the shopkeeper until she disappeared behind the blue door on the side store and reappeared on the main entrance unlocking the sliding door. The place was quite. Nobody was there except for me and her and so I started browsing the books.
Just like Chowon Bookstore, the books here are also mainly in Korean and they have quite a variety of destination cities in their collection. This time, since a lot of the books are image-heavy, instead of only admiring the book covers I could at least enjoyed flipping through the books looking at the travel images while listening to the classical music and the occasional typing sound of the shopkeeper's fingers hitting the keyboard on the background. And so, this concludes my afternoon at Yeonmi-dong. Hopefully I'll find another neighborhood to explore for next time.
